More info from last year's RED Day (2016)

2016 marked the first time our team participated in the annual Keller Williams RED Day and we're proud to say it was a tremendous success.

We couldn't have done it without the support from Lisa Bralley of the Rutherford County Backpack Program for her guidance and logistics of running the food drive and Drew Anderson & 221 Express Lube in Rutherfordton, who so kindly allowed us to use their parking lot as our donation drop-off location.

We had numerous volunteers and donors who helped bring in around 2,400 food items and several hundred dollars in cash donations that were donated to the Rutherford County Backpack Program.

Our Goal this year is to break the record we set last year & bring more attention to the great cause this program serves. The RC Backpack program's purpose is to provide essential food items for children in Rutherford County who may not be able to eat when they go home from school in the evening, weekends and during the Summer break.  We are proud to be associated with this great program and their wonderful people & look forward to this year's food drive!
